Being dog owners ourselves, we understand how difficult it is to part from your pet when you leave to go on holiday.   Pets can sometimes be "part of the family" and It's nice to think that your pet can profit from  a  break as much as you.   

Some of our gites have been specially adapted to accept animals.   The rural setting of La Tarais makes it easy to walk your pet and let it have a bit of a run along the river tow path.  There is also information about some pet friendly beaches.

However,  a couple of bad experiences have taught us that rules have to be made  to protect other guests from "less sociable" dog owners.
